Φ-lab is an open innovation lab offering many collaborative options for people at different career stages. These efforts include internships, the Youth Graduate Traineeship (YGT) Programme, working with scientific or industry Visiting Researchers, co-funded PhDs, Postdoctoral Research fellows, Visiting Professors and other interested individuals. Collaborations range from a few weeks to two years.

ESA’s Postdoctoral Research Fellowships offer scientists and engineers the possibility of staying in the lab for two years, to explore case studies that match Φ-lab’s interests.

ESA’s YGT Programme is aimed at Master’s degree graduates who want to work with us for one year, to gain valuable experience in cutting-edge EO activities. We also offer internships.

We host representatives from industry or academia who submit proposals to work with us on their innovative case studies. They are granted access to ESA EO’s vast experience, together with our computing resources and facilities. Visiting Researchers usually stay with us for four weeks (for a full immersion) and up to two years (for a more strategic partnership). Please write to us if you want to know more.
